Geography:
Algeria is a north African country and its capital is Algiers. It is locatd on the Mediterranean coast and shares borders with seven states. It is bordered to the northeast by Tunisia, to the east by Libya, to the west by Morocco and to the southwest by Mauritania.
The flag of Algeria is half white and half green with red crescent and stars in the center. For the Algerians, the white color represents peace and purity. Green represents beuty of nature and hope. The stars and crescent symbolize faith and are colored red to honor the blood of those killed defending the country.
